Last Day to File a Petition: March 10, 2026, Noon

Withdrawal Deadline: March 17, 2026

November 3, 2026:

First Day to Pick Up a Petition: June 22, 2026

Last Day to File a Petition: August 20, 2026

The following list reflects individuals who have picked up petitions to run for public office in Washington County. Petition pickup information is public record and will be updated regularly on our website as new activity occurs – usually at close of business (4pm EST) but times may vary.

• The order in which candidates appear on this list does not indicate the order in which names will appear on the ballot.
• A candidate’s appearance on this list does not guarantee they will qualify for the ballot. Candidates must meet all state requirements and submit completed petitions with the required number of verified signatures by the applicable deadline.
• Petitions may be returned, withdrawn, or deemed insufficient, and these changes will be reflected as updates become available.
• The Washington County Election Commission remains strictly nonpartisan and provides this information solely for public transparency.
