Petition Pickup Disclosure

The following lists reflects individuals who have picked up petitions to run for public office in Washington County. Petition pickup information is public record and will be updated regularly on our website as new activity occurs – usually at close of business (4pm EST) but times may vary.

The order in which candidates appear on this list does not indicate the order in which names will appear on the ballot.
A candidate’s appearance on this list does not guarantee they will qualify for the ballot. Candidates must meet all state requirements and submit completed petitions with the required number of verified signatures by the applicable deadline.
Republican Candidates: Any individual seeking an elective office as a Republican candidate in the Republican Primary is now required to submit their candidate registration to the Tennessee Republican Party and to the Washington County Republican Party. An individual seeking any of the following elective offices as a Republican candidate will be required to submit to the Tennessee Republican Party both a copy of their completed nominating petition and the applicable filing fee prior to the filing deadline for the office being sought.
