   1. Review & approve petitions for May 5, 2026, County Primary, General Sessions Judge Pt 1, Public Defender Elections, to place names of qualified candidates on ballot (included)

   2. Appoint & approve workers for May 5, 2026 election day, including counting board & any future additions (handout)

   3. Lock and seal absentee and provisional ballot boxes/bags for use in May 5, 2026 election TCA § 2-6-311

   4. Conduct any election business before the commission pursuant to duties listed in TCA § 2-12-116, and any other business that may come before the commission

8. Schedule the next meeting

9. Adjourn

 

 

NOTE: This meeting will be held at the Washington County Election Commission Office located at 2516 East Oakland Ave, Johnson City, TN 37601

This discussion is open for the public to attend. Public Comment Sign-Up Sheets will be placed at the entrance of the meeting space fifteen (15) minutes until two (2) minutes before the start of the meeting. Must be a Washington County Resident to sign up and a three (3) minute time frame will be allocated for each speaker. Comments must be related to items on the agenda.
